Invitation only · global agricultural network
Mission control for
modern agriculture.
People, livestock, finance, movements and compliance — one command platform built for the farms, transporters, abattoirs, vets and regulators who already trust each other. The name says as much: agri, for agriculture, and -ntu, the root for people. Because on Agribantu, that trust is the whole point.
INVITATIONS COME FROM EXISTING MEMBERS · WE'LL TELL YOU WHEN IT OPENS
Why invitation only
You can only do business with people already inside.
A transporter who isn't on Agribantu can't be handed a verified movement record. An abattoir that isn't a member can't confirm an offload against your permit. A neighbouring farmer outside the network is back to paper, phone calls and good faith.
That's not a limitation — it's the entire mechanism. Every scoped grant, every permit, every movement on Agribantu happens between two members who are both verified and both accountable. The network doesn't get more useful because it's bigger. It gets more useful because it's harder to get into.
The old way
Agriculture runs on eleven tools and one spreadsheet.
Every part of the operation gets its own app — until something breaks, and it all falls back to a phone call and a spreadsheet.
- One tool for staff
- Another for animals
- Another for movements
- Another for permits
- Another for invoices
- Another for reports
- Another for messages
- A spreadsheet when it all breaks
Agribantu is one login, one ledger, one network.
People, livestock, finance, movements, compliance and communication — connected by design, not bolted together. Every record traces back to a verified member, on one platform.
ONE PLATFORM · ONE NETWORK · ZERO SPREADSHEETS
The platform
Everything an agricultural operation runs on — in one console.
Nine command centres. One network. Built to cover the full width of a real operation, not just the parts that are easy to build.
People & HR
Full HR, not just a headcount.
Every worker, manager, team, role and permission in one live register — onboarding, leave, positions, recruiting, morale, one-on-ones and manager reviews included. You cannot trace livestock without tracing the people who treated it, weighed it or moved it — who, where, and when — so every action here is logged against a location (GPS position) and a named, accountable person. Not a workforce app bolted onto a spreadsheet: a real HR system built for people who work in fields, not just offices.
People & HR · The cost of drift
What ten minutes a day is actually costing you.
You cannot blame people for being unproductive if you have not defined clear projects and tasks, and managed them. An agricultural employee earns an hourly rate of R30.23 for an 8-hour workday. If that individual is unproductive for just 10 minutes per working day, what is the annual cost to the employer?
One billion, two hundred and five million, one hundred and sixty-nine thousand, three hundred and thirty-three rand and thirty-three cents. Can you say it? Can you truly grasp the weight of that number? That is the staggering annual drain on South Africa's agriculture sector.
Based on the 920,000 agricultural workers employed in Q3 2025, a mere 10 minutes of daily unproductive time costs the entire sector approximately R4.64 million per day, R100.45 million per month, and R1.21 billion per year.
To anyone claiming we should not invest in a system that might save "only" half of that total: a 50% reduction would save the sector more than half a billion rand — specifically, just over R600 million per year.
Crucially, this system is not designed to police employees. Instead, it focuses on driving productivity by keeping workers fulfilled, tracking engagement, and maintaining high workforce morale.
Financial operations
Boardroom intelligence, generated on demand.
Full accounting — invoices, bills, payments, expenses, accounts, contacts, stock — rolled into a real-time financial command centre. Then, with one click, an Executive Board Pack: net profit, cash position, compliance score, herd value and workforce capacity, scored and ready to export or schedule straight to your board.
Livestock traceability
Every animal, every movement, every permit — chained.
Holdings, animals, herds, biosecurity zones and a full movement pipeline from pending to loaded, in transit, to arrived. Every movement is permit-bound and chain-of-custody logged, from farm gate to abattoir — visible to every verified member along the way.
Livestock traceabilityNew
Verified on the road, on their own phone — no login required.
A movement permit doesn't need an app or an account to be checked. Any traffic or animal health officer can scan the QR code on the printed or digital permit with the camera on their own phone and see, instantly, whether it's active — no Agribantu login, no installed app, no waiting for a call back to the farm office.
Go on, take out your cellphone. Scan it. See for yourself.

Court-order FMD vaccination, documented before anyone has to ask.
Private FMD vaccination is only lawful under the interim High Court order in Sakeliga NPC and Others v Minister of Agriculture and Others (Case No. 2026-047152) if the paperwork trail holds up: a 5-day prior written notice to the state vet, then a 14-day sworn statement proving what was actually administered. Agribantu turns that trail into three linked steps instead of three separate scrambles.
Private FMD Vaccination Campaigns
One register per holding tracks every campaign through notice, the mandatory waiting period, vaccination and affidavit — with live counts for what's active, what's waiting, what's overdue and what's already submitted, so nothing quietly slips past a deadline.
Prior Notice Wizard
A 7-step guided flow builds the 5-day written notice from the campaign's holding, animals, vaccinators, dose and cold-chain plan. The recipient is always the state vet or provincial director currently assigned to that holding — there's no free-text email to get wrong — and the waiting period only starts once delivery is recorded.
14-day Affidavit Wizard
Once vaccination is done, the sworn statement is assembled from the same campaign record — notice and delivery proof, the individual animal schedule, vaccine batch evidence and cold-chain readings — cited against the order's exact clauses and ready to sign before a Commissioner of Oaths.
In a perfect world, this notice and this affidavit never touch a PDF at all — they land straight in the Regulatory Inbox of the Authority Command Centre, routed to the right jurisdiction automatically, the moment they're generated.
Map Platform
Every worker, vehicle and herd — one live map.
Workers, trucks and herds move on the same shared map, in real time, on district and farm-level sheets — or satellite, streets, light or dark, switched with one click. A herd shown as one marker at a distance separates into individual animals as you zoom in, and every vehicle leaves its route trail behind it, so a manager sees the whole operation move without opening a single report.
Camps, holdings and biosecurity zones are geofenced directly on the map, with the same engine behind every screen that shows a position — the tracking history page, a vehicle's detail view, a regulatory movement — so nothing drifts out of sync. Full-screen, it becomes a control-room console: one map, the whole farm, always current.
Cost & revenue
Know what every animal actually costs you.
Link finance records to livestock records and profitability stops being a guess. Cost, revenue and margin, by herd, by animal, by holding — the more you link, the sharper the picture gets.
Regulatory oversight
Built for the regulator, not just the farmer.
A live national command centre for the bodies that oversee biosecurity and traceability — jurisdiction-scoped access, vaccination coverage, disease reporting and quarantine status in one always-on view. Compliance stops being a phone call and becomes a live feed.
Regulatory oversightNew
Public verification of a location.
Every GLN and holding identifier registered on Agribantu can be checked by anyone, instantly — no Agribantu login, no installed app. Scan the QR code on a location's verification certificate, or open the verification link directly, and see its current live status: active, quarantined, or deregistered.
Go on, take out your cellphone. Scan it. See for yourself.

Every broadcast, every device, every failure — visible.
Compose, target and schedule communications across your whole organisation, then watch delivery health in real time: queued, sent, failed, skipped, and why. No message disappears into a void.
Report automation
Reporting on autopilot.
Board packs, compliance packs, finance summaries and exception alerts, scheduled to deliver themselves. Set it up once; the report finds the right inbox on its own, every time.
Insights
One glance, four signals.
Workforce, time & leave, compliance, and people signals — refreshed continuously, colour-coded by what needs attention. The instrument cluster for whoever runs the operation.

Agri-Academy
Growing knowledge. Building capability. Strengthening agriculture.
Modern agriculture depends on more than land, machinery and livestock. It depends on people who are continuously learning, adapting and improving.
Agribantu's complete digital learning, training and certification platform—built specifically for agriculture and the communities that sustain it. It brings structured courses, practical training videos, online assessments, learner progress, recognised certificates and workforce development into one accessible learning environment.
Learners can study at their own pace, continue where they left off and complete training from a computer or mobile device. Managers can assign required courses, set completion dates, monitor progress, identify overdue learning and maintain a clear record of workforce competence.
Knowledge that reaches beyond the classroom
Agricultural knowledge is often fragmented, difficult to access or limited to those who can attend training in person. Agri-Academy removes those barriers by placing learning directly into the hands of farmers, workers, managers, advisers, students and emerging agricultural entrepreneurs.
Learning built for real agricultural work
Agri-Academy should have:
- Expert-led agricultural courses and structured learning programmes
- Practical video lessons and step-by-step field guidance
- Online tests, quizzes and competency assessments
- Automated progress tracking and course completion records
- Digital certificates for successfully completed training
- Required, recommended and optional learning pathways
- Role-, team- and organisation-based course assignments
- Training reminders, due dates and overdue-learning alerts
- Multilingual learning designed for diverse agricultural communities
- A growing catalogue covering production, safety, compliance, technology and rural enterprise
More than training. A pathway to opportunity.
Agri-Academy is designed to become a shared agricultural knowledge ecosystem where practical experience, formal instruction and recognised achievement come together.
It supports the continuous development of established farmers while creating new pathways for farmworkers, young people, students and emerging producers to gain skills, demonstrate competence and access greater opportunities.
Because the future of agriculture will not be secured by technology alone.
It will be secured by knowledgeable people, capable communities and a culture of continuous
learning.
Built to travel
Not bound to one country's paperwork.
Agribantu's jurisdiction model scales from a single holding to a national regulator — country, province, district, municipality, biosecurity zone, all configurable. Built first for the hardest conditions, so it works wherever agriculture actually happens.
- Mobile-first
- Offline-aware
- Multi-jurisdiction
- Multi-language ready
- Role-based access
- Full audit trail
- Background field tracking
- Battery-conscious

Who built this
Farmer-led. Not vendor-led.
Agribantu was not designed in a boardroom for farmers. It was built by people who first needed it to work on their own farming operations. That remains the test every feature must pass before it ships.
It was built during early mornings before milking, in stolen breaks between responsibilities, after hours, and late into the night. It was built without external funding—backed by the time, sacrifice, experience, and resources of farmers themselves.
Zero funded. Farmers are too often expected to fund the very systems meant to support them. The agricultural community has invested millions of rands in research, development, disease response, campaigns, events, education, and training. That contribution is rarely acknowledged, yet it is something farmers should be immensely proud of.
During the current foot-and-mouth disease crisis, those with their boots on the ground have witnessed the consequences of delay, indifference, and institutional failure. We have seen livelihoods destroyed, families pushed to breaking point, farms covered in dreadful pink tags, and feeding pens left standing empty. Zero funding, zero assistance. Resources are spent elsewhere.
Farmers did not create this crisis, and they should never have been left to face it alone.
But farmers understand a hard truth: when help does not arrive, irrespective of race, color, or creed, farming communities organise, adapt, support one another, and build solutions themselves.
Agribantu comes from that same spirit.
Built by farmers. Tested in the real world. Determined to help agriculture take back control.
Stay informed
We'll tell you the moment this opens up.
Agribantu isn't open sign-up. Right now, the only way in is an invitation code issued from inside the app by an existing member — a farmer, transporter, abattoir or regulator already on the network — tied to your email address. This form doesn't request that. It just makes sure you hear the moment the network opens further, or moves to public access.
