ICAR/ADE Export — Authority Data Exchange

Validates readiness, detects schema gaps, and publishes a jurisdiction-wide data pack in the ICAR Animal Data Exchange format — with a traceable evidence history per export run.

Selecting what to export

Found at Authority → ICAR/ADE Export. Choose resource types — animals, individual movements, treatment events — plus optional holding, organisation and date-range filters. A hero snapshot shows candidate resources, export-ready count, holdings without a GLN, and how many resource types are selected.

Validate vs. Download

Validate Only vs. Download

Validate Only is a dry run — it shows a table of resource type, source id, valid/ invalid, missing required fields, and warnings, without producing any file. Download runs the real export against the same filters and downloads a JSON file (icar-ade-export-<date>.json).

Run history

Run history

Every export run is logged, with a detail dialog per past run.

Run history is an evidence summary, not a file archive. The raw exported resources aren't stored server-side — only the filters, counts, validation summary and a content hash. If you need the original file again, re-run the export with the same filters and compare the content hash to confirm it's identical output, rather than expecting to re-download the exact original.
