What this guide covers: scheduling an inspection, recording its findings, and one field-behaviour worth knowing about before you rely on it.

Scheduling

Scheduling an inspection

Click Schedule and choose an inspection type, an Organisation ID, an Assigned Inspector, a scheduled date, and optionally a holding ID.

Findings

Recording findings

Open a scheduled or in-progress inspection and use the Findings dialog to update status, record findings and recommendations, and set a follow-up date. Quick-status buttons on the card/row let you move a scheduled inspection straight to In Progress.

Honesty check

A field to know about

The inspection type you pick in Schedule isn't actually saved against the inspection. It's there to guide you while filling out the dialog, but the create action only sends organisation, inspector, date and holding — the type itself doesn't reach the record. Also, Organisation ID and Assigned Inspector are plain text fields today, not pickers — you'll need the actual ID values on hand rather than being able to search by name.
