What this guide covers: reading the role catalogue and using the role-compare tool. There's nothing to configure here — see the note below.
The catalogueThe catalogue
Found at Authority Administration → Roles & Permissions — an expansion-panel list, one per role, showing its classification (administrative or operational), rank, full scope list, which subordinate roles it can grant, which position types it's compatible with, and four yes/no capability flags: administer users, manage service responsibilities, acknowledge submissions, and assign submissions.
Comparing roles
The Compare Roles tool lets you multi-select roles and renders a scope-by-scope check/cross matrix across them — the fastest way to see exactly what changes if you're deciding between two similar roles for a new officer.
