What this guide covers: reading and filtering the animal registry from the Authority side.
What it doesn't cover: registering or editing an animal, which only happens on the organisation's own side — see Animals in the LITS guide set.
OverviewThe registry
Found at Authority → Animals, labelled plainly in the toolbar as "Read-only · Authority jurisdiction view." Table columns: primary active identifier (RFID, eartag, brand, SGTIN or other), species & breed, age/sex, status, holding, and date born, with an expandable row for more detail.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | Alive and currently tracked. |
| Quarantine | Currently under quarantine. |
| Dead | Recorded deceased. |
| Slaughtered | Slaughtered. |
| Sold | Sold to another owner. |
| Exported | Exported out of the country. |
| Lost | Unaccounted for. |
Filters
Species chips (Cattle, Sheep, Goat, Pig, Horse, Buffalo) and status quick-filter tabs both act as toggle filters above the table — click to narrow the registry, click again to clear. There is no create, edit or bulk action anywhere on this page by design.
