What this guide covers: the four biosecurity tabs — zones, quarantine, movement restrictions, and disease-suspicion reporting.
What it doesn't cover: the FMD quarantine recovery pathway in detail (Day 0, Day 16, Day 42, 16 months) — see the dedicated FMD Quarantine Recovery Pathway guide, written for owners living through one.
ZonesZones
Found at LITS → Biosecurity, the Zones tab. Create a biosecurity or outbreak zone with a code and a restriction level — advisory, restricted, or blocked. An alert banner surfaces across the module whenever any restricted or blocked zone is active.
QuarantineQuarantine
Start or end quarantine against an animal or a whole holding, with a reason recorded. Ending quarantine is its own explicit action — it's never implied by anything else changing.
RestrictionsRestrictions
Movement restrictions are tied to a restriction level and a reason, and can require a permit before an animal is allowed to move through the restricted area at all — see Movements & Permits.
Disease suspicionDisease suspicion
Report a suspected disease against an animal or holding. This is the org-side entry point that feeds into the Authority's Disease Reports page for onward tracking and, where required, government export.
