Finance Overview

Finance is one of the largest modules in Agribantu — invoicing, bills, payments, expense claims, receipts, a chart of accounts, a product/service catalogue, stock control, reporting, an executive board pack, a bridge that connects finance records to your livestock data, accountant access, and settings. This page is the map. Everything here is a link to a deeper guide.

Where you land: the Command Centre

Open Finance in the left navigation and you land on the overview — the Command Centre. It's read-only: nothing on this page creates or edits a record, it's a dashboard that summarises everything else and links you into the page that can actually act.

• A fiscal-year progress bar showing your current fiscal year, its date range, and how much of it has elapsed.
• If you're an accountant working across multiple client organisations, a "Client Finance" banner with a "Switch client" link.
• A health snapshot: Overdue AR, Overdue AP, Open Invoices, Awaiting Payment, and a Net Position figure (collected minus paid).
• Four headline cards: Total Invoiced, Total Billed, AR Outstanding, AP Outstanding.
• Two pipeline cards — Accounts Receivable (Draft → Issued → Paid → Void) and Accounts Payable (Draft → Submitted → Approved → Paid) — each with an overdue alert banner when something needs attention.
• A Quick Access tile grid linking straight into Invoices, Bills, Accounts, Contacts, Items and Settings.
• Recent Transactions: your six most recent invoices and six most recent bills, side by side.
