LITS Overview

LITS is the largest module in Agribantu — holdings and camps, the animal registry, herds and groups, an append-only event ledger, mobile field capture, a medicine/vaccine catalogue with cold-chain tracking, movements and permits, biosecurity, FMD vaccination campaigns, a review queue, and reporting. This page is the map. Everything here is a link to a deeper guide.

Where you land

Open LITS in the left navigation and you land on the Overview — a dashboard, not an editing screen. Four live tiles (Animals, Holdings, Herds & Groups, Events) show your current counts and double as quick links into each page, followed by a grid of module cards that deep-link into everything below.

Every LITS module

Two more LITS-adjacent screens live under Finance because they're about money, not identity — linking finance records to animals, profitability reporting, and formal herd valuations. Granting an outside transporter, vet, lab or auditor a scoped, logged-in view of specific movements or permits is also its own guide — see External Access Portal.

The Authority side of the same data

Everything in LITS is your organisation's own write side. A state vet or provincial director sees a separate, read-mostly, jurisdiction-scoped slice of this same data from their own Authority Command Centre — never your full records, and only what an access policy or your own Authority Grants screen actually permits.
